This is an authentic all-silk Turkish Hereke tapestry/carpet in the classic Ottoman design.
It is one of the finer examples of this kind of works with an astonishing knot count of 2 000 000 knots per square meter.
This small Hereke rug is approximately 70-75 years old and it comes with a professionally installed hanging sleeve (see the second last photo).
