Antique Armenian Karabagh Kazak (1920s)

The carpet is beautifully preserved with some slight wool discoloration at the top part and hardly any wear for a 100 year old artifact . Given the vibrant colours and the general condition of the carpet, its age was established by the topicality of the French Rose motif (1880-1920s) and the level and the corrosion of the brown wool which nearly lost all it pile. It can be said with all confidence that the production date of this beautiful work of art falls between 1880 and 1920s
