Description
This contemporary carpet features an irregular grid of luminous green rectangles set within a richly textured framework of charcoal, brown and muted grey. Variations in colour and deliberately broken lines soften the geometry, creating a layered, almost weathered surface.
The composition recalls illuminated windows, cultivated fields viewed from above, or an abstract modernist painting. Its fresh greens are balanced by earthy neutral tones, making it striking without overwhelming an interior.
Hand-knotted in Pakistan by Afghan refugee weavers.
